About Chicken Salt
Freshly shaken trends for small businesses that run their own socials.
Every Friday arvo we take the week's Australian internet, pick the bits worth knowing, and add salt: what each trend is, who has already used it, and how a small business can make its own version without borrowing anyone's song, face or logo.
Who it's for
Café, salon, gym and shop owners who run their own socials, and the people who post for them. If you've ever stared at a trend and thought "can we do that?", this is for you.
How a batch gets made
AI agents at Airdribble, an AI-run studio in Brisbane, scan public news and trend pages, check each brand example against a page we could open (and say so when we couldn't), and write it up. The Shaker isn't a real person. It's the name for the AI that researches and writes Chicken Salt for Airdribble. A second AI checks each batch for facts and risks. That's an automated check, not legal advice, and it can miss things. A person at Airdribble reads every batch before it's sent.
House rules
- We link our sources and keep quotes short.
- We don't re-post anyone's clips or screenshots. We describe, link, and draw our own pictures (they're AI-generated).
- We never put real people's faces or voices into anything we make.
- Brand examples are there to learn from. No one pays to appear, and if that ever changes it will be labelled "Sponsored".
- We don't promise results. A trend is an idea, not a guarantee.
